Just what I needed. Hope this one last longer than the one it is replacing.

Worked well to replace my old worn out feeder tray wish that I had purchased two. It is very well made and service was excellent.

The description said 3/4 inch diameter or smaller. My pole is 1/2 inch. The screw that holds the tray was very short, useless unless the pole is pretty close to 3/4. We were able to use a longer screw and it was able to hold the tray against the pole without being wobbly, so I'll give 4 stars.

I use these to feed the ground feeding birds and squirrels. They are heavy enough to stay in place and do not hold water in case of rain. I have 5 so I guess I like them!

I purchased this to add onto my GrayBunny feeding station. The part of the bracket that the mesh tray hooks into snapped off the bracket that slides on to the pole after just 2 weeks!!! The original brackets are still all in place and have yet to break. Are these being made cheaper now or what? I contacted GrayBunny to see if they will send me a replacement. I may adjust this review if they send one and it holds up better. FYI...I only filled the trap about half full with peanuts hardly enough wait to cause it to snap off as it says you can put peanuts in it.Update: Graybunny had Amazon send me out a replacement. If this one holds up I will increase my rating.

I was a little weary at first, because it took me a while to find a pole I could put this on. All my shepherds hooks are one piece, so I have to go find a two-piece. I use it for duet now, at ground level. And my brown thrasher, cat bird, and blue jays love it.

Did not fit my 1 inch bird feeder pole. Diameter of clamp was too small. Otherwise, nice design and quality.

I love these little baskets! I grind up suet cakes and put it in and the Flicka, Bluebirds and Woodpeckers love to come down and grab a hunk of suet and fly off to consume it.

All the birds love this feeding tray. It provides an extra opportunity for some of the larger birds also.... like jays and cardinals. The birds are waiting in line for this feeding station, even though other feeders are available.

modest price with good quality. With many feeders I also have two of these. It allows a bird bigger than a finch not to have to struggle to hold on.The small mesh allows almost any type of seed. I would have preferred the clamp to fit the one inch size pole and have two of these on a separate rod. With the walls birds don't toss things onto the ground.

Works great, it is one of the bird's favorite feeding stations.

Ingenious design should be rewarded! I love the way the tray easily lifts off the pole connection to be cleaned. I bought the pole system for a gift and the mesh tray and water tray (also well designed!!) and two pole hooks to add to my feeder pole. Easy cleaning is the MOST IMPORTANT part of any bird feeding accessory!!!! Finally!!!! a company gets it!!! The GrayBunny prices are so reasonable compared to the greedy prices of the other companies. GrayBunny really does want you to be a happy customer. Such a refreshing experience these days!!!! No, I am in no way affiliated with the company or anyone in the company. Thank you GB!!

The birds love this tray, especially larger ones like cardinals. I couldn't mount it on my shepherd's hook because of the curve, so I bought a 6 foot section of dark gray colored pvc tubing, I attached the connecting collar to the tubing, then attached the tubing to the shepherd's hook with two hose clamps (also could use cable ties). I liked it so much that I ordered a second one. However, the insert part broke off the connecting collar of that one as soon as I inserted the tray. I fixed the problem by attaching the insert part to the connecting collar with two cable ties. That worked great. I asked Gray Bunny if they would send a replacement part and they promptly sent me an entire new unit! So, I have only praise for their customer service.

Not a 'hanging' design. Attaches to a relatively small pole diameter. I ended up getting a hanging mesh tray to use on my pole?

I ordered 2 more for my grey bunny system. They're easy to clean and the doves and blue jays can use them in addition to the cardinals and other small birds.

While the design and product is useful and works well, I was sent an opened, damaged box with a used product inside. The pole clamp had paint scraped off of it, and the basket still had some seeds in it! Unbelievable they'd send such an obviously used product. If you can get an unused one, I'd recommend. Won't bother returning, it's too much of a hassle.
